NEARLY A BAKER (Black Diamond), October 15.—A Slapstick comedy of ordinary merit, in which the lover of a baker’s daughter has considerable trouble with his courtship. Finally he succeeds in getting a position in the bakeshop where, before the close of the picture, a great deal of dough manipulation takes place.
